Welcome to Perfectly Paleo Sisters! We are two sisters who struggle with different endocrine & autoimmune disorders and their complications, yet each of us seeks to live a healthy, pharmaceutical-free life by returning to an all-natural, paleolithic diet. We have learned through experience that what we put into our bodies can either heal us or harm us, and, for this reason, we choose to follow the advice set forth in Robb Wolf’s The Paleo Solution and countless other primal diet resources. We are not doctors, so please consult yours if you think Paleo is the right lifestyle choice for you, but we are here to support you once your doctor is on board!
Thanks for joining us! We look forward to sharing our primitive hunt for modern health with you! Please leave us feedback! We welcome the opportunity to hear your Paleo adventures as well!
Nikki & Erin
A few quick specifics…
Sister #1 (Nikki–PCOS, hypothyroid, hyperlipidemia, high blood sugar) keeps a hectic cave in Bethlehem, PA, with her caveman and two kiddos, which is most likely the reason she wanted to name this blog Good CaveKeeping. She, however, feared the wrath of copyright law, so instead settled on PPS. She assures the general public that neither she, nor her sister, are, in fact, perfect. Rather, the Paleo journey is one perfectly suited for sister power.
Sister #2 (Erin–Lupus, periocarditis, migraines, celiac) migrated to Elizabethton, TN, from Bethlehem, PA, in order to set-up cave with a caveman of her own. Together they are successful public servants and busy parents raising Sweet Southern Cave Baby A. Under the positive influence of her sister (or, perhaps, under the distress of a twisted arm), she agreed to go Paleo and give primal living a try. This is one mama who wants nothing but the best start in life for her baby girl!
